1. How does the design process start for my yard or exterior areas?

We begin by evaluating the property, its size, conditions, and your desired style. Then we develop an initial design presented with images that shows the overall aesthetic, plant layout, and hardscape elements. This lets you see the vision without needing technical plans at this stage.

2. Why aren’t some internal installations shown in the initial design?

Elements such as irrigation systems, lighting, or essential underground lines are necessary for the project to function properly, even if they are not yet visible. Many clients focus only on what is visible and budget for only that portion; that’s why we recommend considering these installations as the first construction phase. Later, the visible areas (plants, patios, and external hardscape) can become the second phase, ensuring each stage receives the proper planning and attention it deserves.

3. Can I combine all areas in a single project, or should I follow separate phases?

It depends on your preference and the size of the project. You can choose to do everything at once, in which case we will design all areas to maintain cohesion and overall aesthetics. Or you can follow phased construction: Phase One for essential internal installations and Phase Two for visible external areas, which helps control budget and ensures high-quality results.

4. How long does a complete design project take?

It depends on the size of the space and the complexity of the design. For residential yards, the presentation and refinement process typically takes 2 to 6 weeks, depending on adjustments and specific requirements.

5. Does the design include plant and material selection?

Yes, the proposal includes recommendations for vegetation, colors, textures, and hardscape materials, considering the desert climate and the functionality of your space. Any details can be adjusted according to your preferences during the process.

6. Can a design be completed without my participation?

There is no perfect design without the client’s involvement. Your ideas, feedback, and decisions are essential to ensure the final result reflects your tastes and needs. Collaboration guarantees that every detail makes sense and is harmonious in your space.
